Paddington Recreation Ground - Cricket nets re-opening as of Wednesday 20th May

Following from the latest government advice, we will be re-opening the cricket nets at Paddington Recreation Ground from 8am on Wednesday 20th May. Bookings to use the cricket nets can be made online or via the app from 7pm on Tuesday 19th May.

Other facilities that have recently re-opened include; the table tennis tables, tennis courts, multi-use games area (MUGA), as well as our football/hockey pitches which are available for informal/casual use as part of the ActiveWestminster Open Pitch Policy, subject to social distancing guidelines.

However, at this point in time, our playground, outdoor gym and trim trails will remain closed until further notice and in line with government guidance.

Please help us, to help you and others stay active and maintain an Active City for All, while staying well. At all times, you should continue to observe the government’s social distancing advice when you are outside your home, including ensuring you are 2 metres away from anyone outside your household.

If you’re going outside to get or stay active, please:

  • Limit your contact with others
  • Keep your distance (stay 2 metres apart from anyone outside of your household)
  • Travel by foot or by bike
  • Do not use public transport
  • Do not gather in groups of more than 2 people, excluding members of your household
  • Wash your hands for 20 seconds when you get home

See the full list of government rules here. More information is available on the Mayor of London website.

We will continue to continue to keep this situation under constant review and will publish further updates on the ActiveWestminster and Everyone Active websites, Facebook and Twitter pages.

Thank you for helping us to keep Everyone Active.
