Leisure partners, Everyone Active, launch free digital package helping Westminster transition back to the Gym

Everyone Active, our partners and leisure contractor for four years, is helping local residents to transition back to the gym thanks to a new virtual fitness subscription package called Everyone On Demand, which is free to all new and existing members.

Everyone Active operate seven gyms across the borough, including Little Venice Sports Centre, Marshall Street leisure centre and Spa, Paddington Recreation Ground, Porchester Centre, Queen Mother Sports Centre, Seymour Leisure Centre and Moberly Sports Centre.

The package gives all members ultimate flexibility to decide how and when to get or stay active by giving free access to four programmes with a combined 2,500 different workouts to choose from, many of which have been developed with the needs of special user- groups in mind.

Programmes for members with long-term health conditions

  • EXi – NHS-approved, prescribed exercise programmes, tailored and tracked for peace of mind. EXi is the world’s first app to specifically target any combination of 20 long term health conditions including diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, depression and cancer

Audio coaching programmes

  • WithU – Over 600 immersive workouts, led by world-class personal trainers, via audio coaching and a 3D avatar

Other popular programmes

  • Flex by Fitness On Demand – More than 1000 workouts from a host of fantastic fitness brands including Jillian Michaels, Sleek Technique, SH1FT and Sweat Factor
  • Les Mills on Demand – Over 800 workouts from Les Mills’ market-leading group exercise programmes including BODYPUMP, BODYCOMBAT, CXWORX and GRIT

By giving all its current and new members a year’s free subscription to these four apps, Everyone Active hope to continue to support those who want to combine at-home workouts with in-gym sessions and group exercise classes as they find their feet now lockdown has lifted.

Cllr Paul Swaddle, Westminster City Council Cabinet Member for Community Services and Digital said: “We know that getting and staying active is vital to our residents and our entire community’s physical and mental wellbeing. We were really pleased to be able to welcome people back to our leisure centres and these apps are just the thing to help people get in shape again whatever their ability or level of fitness.”.

Altogether the package is worth £25 per month and has been made free to all current members. For anyone who is not ready to return to the gym, Everyone Active is offering stand-alone Everyone On Demand access for £9.99 a month, which you can find out about here.
