A temporary closure of the Athletics Track at Paddington Recreation ground will be put in place until early Spring in order to facilitate improvement works in and around the track.

A temporary partial-closure of the track will being from w/c 22 February 2021, to safely facilitate the full replacement of the athletics and also for the new Parkour park, which will be located adjacent to the existing MUGA (multi use games area).

During this time, access to the track will be only be facilitated on a restricted timetable only, followed by a temporary full-closure until works are complete in Spring 2021.

Athletics Track Closures Times

Partial-Closure
Monday 22 February 2021 to Sunday 28 February 2021, from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Full Closure
Monday 1 March 2021 to Friday 30 April 2021

The track is currently accessible until Monday 22 February access will be restricted to evenings and weekends only, up until Monday 1 March, where the track will be fully closed, at least until Friday 30th April in order the facilitate the safe completion of the works.

Upon completion, visitors to Paddington Recreation Ground will be able to enjoy a fully refurbished athletics track accompanied by a purposed built Parkour park, in addition to the various other improvement works we undertook last Spring/Summer.
