GIFTED AND TALENTED (SUPPORT FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL CHILDREN)
Schools can refer young athletes to 13-week (primary schools) or six-week (secondary schools) training sessions to develop their sporting skills. Young athletes train together to improve techniques and knowledge across all sports. The training also incorporates aspects of motorskill development. We can also recommend clubs and activities that will help them to progress in their chosen sport.
School pupils can express their interest to their school PE coordinator or Head of PE who can refer eligible athletes to Westminster Sports Unit on 020 7641 2012 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We have teamed up with GU_ Sports Foundation, London Sports Trust, SportsAid and Jubilee Hall Trust to offer these schemes aimed to develop young sporting potential into Champions of the Future.
Over 80 young talented athletes benefit from the Champions the Future Program
