For People With Disabilities

Community Club

Our ActiveWestminster partner, Disability Sports Coach, delivers a fun and accessible Community Club session that runs every Thursday between 4 to 6pm at Little Venice Sports Centre.

The paralympic and multi-sport sessions are delivered by two qualified coaches providing people aged 11 to 25 with disabilities the opportunity to get involved in a variety of sports and physical activities.

Pimlico Puffins swimming club

The club provides swimming lessons for people aged 11 and over with physical and learning disabilities, and varying swimming abilities. The sessions take place at Queen Mother Sports Centre on Monday evenings from 7.45pm-9pm.

Pan-disability football sessions

QPR in the Community Trust delivers pan-disability football sessions in partnership with Westminster City Council. Sessions are open to all ages, abilities and disabilities, and take place every Thursday from 5pm-6pm at Paddington Recreation Ground.

Adult cricket sessions

Capital Kids Cricket delivers fun, active sessions for adults with disabilities. The sessions are held on Tuesdays from 4 to 6pm at Little Venice Sports Centre.

Special Yoga Foundation’s mission is to reach as many children and adults with special needs as possible throughout the UK and worldwide with their therapeutic yoga programme.
