The 2025 championships will take place on Saturday 26th April 2025 and it is completely free to enter, with more than 15,000 children and young people expected to run, jog, walk, or wheel one mile or 2.6K in the heart of the capital.
As in previous years, City of Westminster will be entering teams in the following age groups:
Please note the new rule: Athletes must be 11 on August 31st prior to the start of the Competition Year rather than 11 on the race.
This means that year 6 pupils cannot compete against years 7 and 8 pupils, and follows extensive consultation. You can read further info on this here UKA RULES FOR COMPETITION 2024-2026
Athletes will be able to represent this year’s Westminster team based upon their best 5km park run time or an accredited 5km race completed between Monday 13th January to Monday 31st March 2025.

To be eligible to qualify you will also need to live, study or have been born in Westminster.
Individuals will be notified w/c Monday 31st March as to whether they have been successful to run in the championships or not.
