Sayers Croft London

Our sister site at Paddington Recreation Ground, London, offers immersive day visits and Forest School programmes from the Wildlife and Forest Gardens. Groups can choose whole day or half day sessions to explore the ponds, woods and meadows.

Holiday activities and open days also provide great opportunities for the local community get outside and explore.

Forest School

Forest School focuses on child-led experiential learning, giving participants a sense of ownership over the area during their regular visits.

Our programmes are available for EYFS - Year 4 classes and specialist small groups. We also run a long term programme for Home Educated children. Our booking enquiry window opens in May and enquiries must be made during this time. Please email to join the mailing list and receive booking information.

Outdoor Learning

Our curriculum linked workshops take place throughout the school year and cover a wide range of topics adapted for children from EYFS - Year 6.

Pupils will develop knowledge and understanding of the natural world through our engaging hands onapproach. Workshops can be booked year round, but we highly recommend booking early.

Birthday Parties

Choose from a selection of party themes and enjoy two hours of outdoor activities with your friends.

Come and celebrate your birthday with us at Sayers Croft London!

We welcome up to 10 children, aged 5-10, for 2 hours of outdoor activities at a cost of £250.

The theme is your choice from:

Survival Shelters – Put your survival skills to the test as you work in teams to build a shelter using only a rope, a tarp and some string (recommended ages 8-10).
Fantastic Fire – Learn a new survival skill as you practice lighting your own fires and finish by toasting some marshmallows around the campfire (recommended ages 8-10).
Stone Age – Step back in time and learn what it was like to be part of a stone age tribe as you hunt for food, explore primitive tools and light your own fire (recommended ages 8-10).
Sensational Senses – Explore the world of senses as you look at, listen to, feel, smell and taste some natural wonders of the forest.

Parties are led by a qualified instructor and are run on some Saturdays and selective dates in the holidays.

Community Activities

We run a variety of free nature based activities for children, families and adults throughout the year.

During the school holidays we offer drop in and booked sessions for children from 3 - 12 years. Join us to enjoy the changing seasons; explore beautiful autumnal leaves, search for the first signs of Spring and see all that summer has to offer.
