A place where local residents, schools, care homes, and community groups can grow fruits, vegetables, and plants and can all benefit from healthy living, learning, and sustainability.
Working with Children services, the Sports, Leisure, and Active Communities (SL&AC) team are proposing to create a new AstroTurf all-weather Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) in the carpark of Wilberforce Primary School along Herries Street. Read about the proposals and have your say on the dedicated Commonplace site.
The council wants to work with you to create a more active community by removing prohibitive play signages. The aim of the pilot scheme is to encourage more people to use the space available to be more active.
