Upcoming competitions

During the academic year Westminster-based Schools can participate in over 50 different competitions in sports ranging from athletics through to football. We now have the Spring Term ready.

Primary Schools Spring Term Calendar

  • 24th April – Mini Tennis Competition at Paddington Rec

  • 9th May – Tri Golf  (Location TBC)

  • 23rd May – Kwik Cricket at The Hub Regents Park

  • 12th June – Year 4 Multi Skills at Paddington Rec

  • 17th June – Girls Festival at Paddington Rec

  • 19th June – Year 3 Multi Skills at Paddington Rec

  • 26th June – Quad Kids Athletics at Paddington Rec

  • 27th June – Year 2 Multi Skills at Paddington Rec

  • 3rd July – Year 1 Multi Skills at Paddington Rec

Secondary Schools Spring Term Calendar

  • 2nd May – Boys Track and Field at Battersea Park

  • 3rd May – Girls Track and Field at Battersea Park

  • 5th June – Year 9/10 Rounders at Paddington Rec

  • 13th June – Year 7/8 Kwik Cricket at Regents Park

  • 17th June – Girls Festival at Paddington Rec

  • 25th June – Year 7/8 Rounders at Paddington RecSpringSpring (Please note change of date) 

Registering your intention to enter the competitions is now closed.

The window to register your school for the Sprint term competitions is now closed. Look out in September for the new Autumn term.

ActiveWestminster is uniquely placed to offer a comprehensive service to schools at the best possible value. We can broker quality services from partners in education, sport and physical activity to help develop and deliver a full PE and School Sport offer to Westminster schools. The team has the support of a dedicated Sports Development Officers and unlike commercial providers; there is no premium to cover the cost of overheads or profit margins.

School Sport and Activity Action Plan

Find out how the Government is working to support senior leaders and teachers to provide high quality PE and sport for at least two hours a week, complemented by a wide range of extra-curricular sport and competitive opportunities.

PE and Sport Premium for Primary Schools

The PE and Sport Premium Funding is set to help schools achieve the action plan and use the extra funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the PE, sport and physical activity they provide (which do not core-type school activities).

Youth Sport Trust responds to School Sport and Activity Action Plan update
