The Neighbourhood Sports Club programme is delivered in collaboration with members of the ActiveWestminster partnership, this month our Spotlight is on Hurdles2Hoops.
Hurdles2Hoops aims to provide a safe and supportive environment in order to tackle social exclusion and help alleviate mental health by offering a healthy escapism to those who arrive as Asylum seekers and Refugees to the UK.
The charity promotes better health and wellbeing through activity and educational sessions. Today we feature their basketball sessions, taking place every Saturday from 3pm-4pm at the Royal Oak Open Muga Space, W2 5EW.
