Community Football Cup – Rules

• Maximum 6 players on the pitch (6 a-side)
• Squad of 10 players max
• 5 minimum number of players
• Roll on roll off substitutions
• Astro or trainers, no boots!
• Bibs not supplied, teams should wear similar coloured shirts 
• No slide tackling – players should be encouraged to stay on their feet. Accidental slides will result in a free kick
• 10-minute one-way matches (Subject to Change)
• Goalkeepers allowed out of the area (Subject to Change)
• Players allowed in the area (Subject to Change)
• Pass back rule applies
• The Goalkeeper has the choice of kicking ball from hands, throwing the ball or placing ball on the ground for distribution when ball is caught (In the air) from a shot or any type of deflection
• No offsides
• If a player persistently commits a foul the referee (At referee’s discretion) will request that the player is substituted. If the request is refused, the player will be sent off.
• On scoring a goal, play resumes from the centre
• Players permitted to throw the ball using the underarm roll technique from the sides
• Managers/Coaches responsible for the discipline and conduct of players
• To promote good sportsmanship, both teams and Managers/Coaches are required to shake hands after each game.
