Meet Our Park Makers

Meet our Park Makers – local partners who help bring parks and open spaces to life through activities, events and community initiatives.

On this page, you can learn more about the people behind the programme, including what they do, where they’re based, how to get in touch, and the parks and communities they support. Whether you’re looking to join an activity, connect with a local partner or simply find out more, our Park Maker profiles are a great place to start.

In the other hand, if you are interested in becoming a Park Maker, please visit the main Park Makers Scheme page.

PLEASE NOTE: Session details, timings and availability may change. While we aim to keep the information on this page up to date, we recommend checking directly with the Park Maker before attending to confirm the latest details.

Khaoula Slimani Profile

WOMEN’S OUTDOOR FITNESS

I am a qualified Fitness Instructor and ActiveWestminster Mark holder, delivering inclusive community fitness sessions across Westminster. My classes focus on improving physical health, confidence and wellbeing in a welcoming and supportive environment.

I work particularly with women who may face barriers to participating in physical activity, including those from lower-income backgrounds, women with limited access to fitness opportunities, and those who may not feel comfortable attending traditional gym environments due to cultural, financial or confidence-related reasons.

Through women’s fitness programmes and community-based activities, I aim to make exercise accessible, enjoyable and empowering for all participants, helping them to become more active, improve their wellbeing and build social connections within their local community.”
