Entries are now open for the iconic Vitality Westminster Mile 2026 taking place on Saturday 26th September
The run follows a spectacular route, setting off from The Mall and finishing in front of Buckingham Palace, and is the ideal event for individuals, groups or families to take part in to get fit, raise money for a charity, or just for fun.
The Vitality Westminster Mile, the world’s most iconic mile.
As always, this spectacular family friendly event starts on The Mall, goes around St James’s Park and finishes in front of Buckingham Palace. In addition to the Mile, there will be a free all day festival in Green Park, packed with family-friendly activations – again all free.
WESTMINSTER COMMUNITY WAVE – Free Entry for Westminster Residents
Thanks to our partners at London Marathon Events, we will be offering FREE ENTRIES for the Westminster Community Wave for a third year.
Excitingly, the Westminster Community Wave will be absolutely FREE of charge to enter for Westminster residents. In addition to that, every participant will receive a souvenir medal!
You can register until the 11th September but be mindful that there are only 500 free places, so you so you don’t want to miss out on that!

You can register to run solo or as a group in the following waves:
- Adult Wave: £12 for adults (early bird price £10, closing soon).

- Adult Entry: £12 and you can enter as many adults).
- Child 11-17 Entry: £7 for ages 11 to 17.
- Child under 11 Entry: Free.
- Junior Westminster Mile: All entries are now closed.
