ActiveWestminster Awards Winners of 2023
The Awards night took place last Friday 17 November.
Thank you everyone who attended, you made it a very special evening, full of excitement, emotion and fun.
The winners of the 2023 Active Westminster Awards are:
- Inclusive Award: Paul Davis from Pro Touch SA
- Change4Life Westminster Award: Renegades Netball Club
- OneYou Westminster Award: Paola Andrea Gianelli from Fun for the over 50s!
- Active Place or Space Award: Moberly Sports Centre and Porchester Centre
- PE and School Sports Award: St. Mary’s Bryanston Square CofE School
- Club or Coach of the Year Award: Chelsea & Westminster Swimming Club
- Sports Personality of The Year Award: Felix Thomis (National table tennis player)
- Special Staff Awards: Sagar Barua (ActiveWestminster Relationship Manager – Leisure) and Anthony Rodriguez (Everyone Active’s General Manager of Seymour Leisure Centre and Church Street Community Leisure Centre)
- Rewarding and Celebrating Diversity Award: Caxton Youth Organisation
- The Lord Mayor’s Unsung Hero Award, in memory of Mariam Sabir: Charlotte Thomas-Rowe (Hurdles2Hoops)
