Wilberforce Primary School Community Outdoor Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) Consultation

Working with Children services, the Sports, Leisure, and Active Communities (SL&AC) team are proposing to create a new AstroTurf all-weather Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) in the carpark of Wilberforce Primary School along Herries Street. The Council believes that being active and healthy goes hand in hand with an improved quality of life and wellbeing. We aim to improve Westbourne Green Open Space by offering different types of space that are more accessible, a rich mix of playing opportunities and improve pollution and noise and overall environmental impact of the area.

The council wants to work with you to create a more active community by removing prohibitive play signages. The aim of the pilot scheme is to encourage more people to use the space available to be more active.
