Help shine a spotlight on Westminster’s local heroes by nominating someone making a difference through sport and physical activity. Make it quick – nominations close next Monday 28 September at midnight.
There’s still time to nominate for the ActiveWestminster Awards 2026, and your nomination could help give someone the recognition they truly deserve.
From inspiring coaches and dedicated volunteers to inclusive projects, clubs, schools and community groups, these awards celebrate the people helping Westminster get active, stay healthy and feel connected.
Here’s a reminder of the voting categories:
- Active Inclusive Award
- Rewarding and Celebrating Diversity Award
- Change4life Supporting Children and Young People Award
- One You Westminster Supporting Adults Award
- Active Place or Space Award
- PE and School Sport Award
- Club or Coach of the Year Award
- Sports Personality of The Year Award, for anyone aged 12 and over
- The Lord Mayor of Westminster – Unsung Hero Award, in memory of Mariam Sabir
