PE and School Sports

2026/27 Upcoming competitions

During the academic year Westminster-based Schools can participate in over 50 different competitions in sports ranging from athletics through to football. We now have the Autumn Term ready.

Primary Schools Autumn Term Calendar

  • Every Tuesday 15th September – 20th October, 4pm – 5.30pm – Year 5/6 Girls, 5-aside football league
  • 1st October – Year 3-6 Cross Country
  • 9th October – Year 5/6 Tag Rugby
  • 15th October – Year 3/4 Netball Festival
  • 17th November – Year 5/6 Bees Netball
  • 1st December – Year 5/6 3×3 Basketballl

Secondary Schools Autumn Term Calendar

  • 24th Sept – Year 9/10 Girls Football
  • 1st October – Year 7-10 Cross Country
  • 6th October – Year 8 Girls Football
  • 7th October – Year 10/11 Netball League
  • 14th October – Year 7 Girls Football
  • 23rd November – Year 9 Netball

The window to register your school for the Autumn term competitions will open from Monday 7th Sep to Friday 18th Sep before midnight.

Support for Teachers and Schools

ActiveWestminster is uniquely placed to offer a comprehensive service to schools at the best possible value. We can broker quality services from partners in education, sport and physical activity to help develop and deliver a full PE and School Sport offer to Westminster schools. The team has the support of a dedicated Sports Development Officers and unlike commercial providers; there is no premium to cover the cost of overheads or profit margins.
