Dance Westminster 2024 Grand Final – Celebrating Every Step Together!

Dance Westminster 2024 - List of winners

Our annual pan-disability dance competition, designed to encourage disabled people to be more active through dance, celebrated the Grand Final on Tuesday 15 October.

All the participants attended the workshops and auditions led by Step Change Studios. As a result, the finalists going had their final dance off competition. This is the list of winners for the Dance Westminster 2024.

ADVANCE NOTICE: Changing rooms and toilets at Paddington Recreation Ground will be CLOSED FOR WORKS

The changing rooms and toilets in the Gym at Paddington Recreation Ground will be closed from Monday 14th October to Mondat 21st October due to ventilation works.
 
Customers can use the public toilets at the bowls pavilion or in the main pavilion during this time.

New No Strings Badminton Sessions at Jubilee Community Leisure Centre

New Over 50s Multi-Activity Mornings at Jubilee Community Leisure Centre

No Strings Badminton is now available every Wednesday 6pm-7pm at the Jubilee Community Leisure Centre, thanks to Everyone Active
 
From the 2nd October, every Wednesday 6pm – 7pm after that. At only £3.45 per session, there is something for everyone. Go back to badminton or if you are new, try it out. You will love it.

No Strings Badminton is a national participation programme offering instructor-led, low-cost, fun ‘pay and play sessions’ for all abilities within the local community. Badminton is a fantastic sport for those looking to get active, meet new people and improve your mental health.

For the second part of the consultation, we are seeking views on the proposed Play Streets for Ashmore Road South (between Shirland and Riverton Close) and Chippenham Mews.

Play Streets provide priority for children and families to enable them to play in the designated streets.

A Play Street is open to all, regardless of where they live.

For your information, the first part of the consultation for the following streets has already been CLOSED:

  • Ashmore Road (between Kilburn Lane and Marban Road)*
  • Kilravock Street (between the junction of Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue)
  • Marne Street (between the junction of Fifth Avenue and Third Avenue)
  • Peach Road
  • Ranelagh Road
