Queen Mother Sports Centre Accessible Open Day on Tuesday 31 October

Have you ever thought of joining your nearby leisure centre but not sure it’ll work for you?
 
Or maybe you have accessibility issues or a disability that prevent you from exploring your local gym?
 
ActiveWestminster in collaboration with Everyone Active are organising an accessible open day at the Queen Mother Sports Centre Open Day on Tuesday 31st October. The aim of the event is to provide the opportunity to explore the facilities available and learn more how the WelcoMe service and the Changing Places toilets can make a difference on you being able to access Westminster Leisure Centres. and explore all what the leisure centre has to offer. 
 
There are four scheduled tours. No booking is required but you will need to be register at reception 5 to 10 mins before the tour starts.
 
It couldn’t be easier.

Our annual pan-disability dance competition, designed to encourage disabled people to be more active through dance, celebrated the Grand Final on Tuesday 17 October.

All the participants attended the workshops and auditions led by Step Change Studios. As a result, the finalists going had their final dance off competition. This is the list of winners for the Dance Westminster 2023:

Our Parks UK classes are delivered by fully qualified and registered coaches.
The sessions below are available at Queens Park Gardens and at no cost, no subscription, no special equipment needed. What are you waiting for to try the out?

New all-girls basketball session every Wednesday at Brunel Estate Sports Pitch

0-10 Community alongside Everyone Active and ActiveWestminster have organised the all-girls basketball sessions at the Brunel Estate Sports Pitch from 4.30-6.30pm every Wednesday.
 
The new sessions are part of the ActiveWestminster Neighbourhood Sports Clubs Programme.
 
Age groups range from  8-13 and 14-19. However, there is some flexibility depending on attendance.
 
This is your chance to learn your skills or improve and move to the next level,  make new friends and get active 😀
