Join Our Regular Seated Aerobics Class, Bringing Movement, Connection & Confidence to Older Residents Across Westminster

Join Our New Seated Aerobics Class - Bringing Movement, Connection & Confidence to Older Residents Across Westminster.

Since launching in January, more than 120 participants have taken part in ActiveWestminter’s 50+ activities programme, with residents enjoying everything from Pilates, Boccia, and Badminton to Table Tennis and Seated Aerobics.

Designed to help older adults stay active, social and connected in a welcoming and supportive environment, the sessions have already become a much-loved part of the community calendar, with participants praising the friendly atmosphere, inclusive activities and positive impact on both and physical and mental wellbeing.

Movement, laughter, community and connection – staying active has no age limit

It’s been wonderful to have Pilates and Aerobics available. I love them. They’ve really benefitted me enormously. Thanks!” 67 year old female participant

“Very positive sessions. I can do more than I thought I would be able to. It has given me confidence to continue” – 66 year old male participant

Following some of the fantastic feedback and growing popularity of the programme, the Seated Aerobics sessions are now running on a regular basis every Tuesday at 11pm at our Little Venice Sports Centre site for residents aged 50+.

These sessions are a great way to improve mobility, boost confidence, meet new people and enjoy movement in a fun accessible way, proving that stating active is for everybody at every age.
