Dance Westminster 2024 is now open for registrations!

Dance Westminster 2024 is now open for registrations! Now in it’s 5th year, our fun free, inclusive annual pan-disability dance competition has been designed to encourage and allow disabled people to become more active through dance. If you are a dance enthusiast please join us for this unique and wonderful opportunity.

Run in partnership with Step Change Studio, we want to make it bigger and better than ever! So if you are a dance enthusiast please join us for this unique and wonderful opportunity. 

Registrations for Dance Westminster are now open and anyone wanting to participate can sign up for one of the three following workshops:

  • 30th August (2pm – 3:30pm) at Forrester Court Cirencester Street, Off Harrow Road, W2 5SR. This session is for older participants over the age of 50
  • 13th September (10:00am – 11:30am) at Queen Elizabeth 2 Jubilee School. This session is for disabled children and young people ages 11- 17
  • 18th September (10:30am-12:30pm) at Everyone Active, Paddington Recreation Ground. This session is for young people and adults 18+

Join us for Barefoot Bowls this Friday and every first Friday of the month.
 
Playing bowls is good for you! Specially good for older people as a way to keep active and healthy. However, bows is open to everyone as it offers several health advantages such as increased physical fitness, enhanced dexterity and proficiency. 
 
Come along this Friday 2nd August at Paddington Sports Club and try it out. You will be surprised as it is a perfect evening to be physically active, socialise and have a great time.
 
From 6.30pm Friday 2nd August and every first Friday of the month

Following the success of NSC Spotlight, we’re introducing the “On the ground – Sharing your stories” to share the real experiences of those attending the NSC sessions.

Come along to Girls Allowed Free Sports Day Monday 8 July

You don’t want to miss this fantastic sports day specially designed for girls and full of fun activities.
 
The event will take place on Monday 8th July in Hyde Park as part of the British Summer Time Festival.
 
This is a FREE and no booking is required. Just turn up for an afternoon of sports and fun from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
 
Girls Allowed is a safe space for girls to be active through a range of multi-sports, that engage the disengaged alongside help build physical literacy & life skills such as teamwork, resilience & communication.
