Advance Notice: Porchester Spa will close on 13th, 14th and 15th March and 20th and 21st March due to essential maintenance and improvement works

    Porchester Spa will be closed on 13th, 14th and 15th and again on 20th and 21st March. Urgent essential works need to be carried out on the steam rooms, sauna, and general areas as we want to make the spa a safe & enjoyable environment for all. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and we hope these works will significantly improve the spa experience for everyone. Please contact the centre on 020 7313 3858 for any further information.

Happy International Women’s Day – Embrace equality

Enjoy International Women’s Day  at Little Venice Sports Centre
 
We have an exciting day planned at Little Venice Sports Centre to welcome women from across the local community with a variety of free exercise activities organised by Everyone Active in partnership with Westminster City Council 
 
From a female DJ on the courts, to female only fitness classes and gym sessions – activities for women of all ages and abilities will be on offer to members and non-members.
 
The free activities will run from 12:30pm to 9:30pm, kicking off with local school, King Solomon Academy King Solomon Academy participating in tennis serve sessions, followed by Zumba fitness classes, Unique Dynamites Cheer and Dance Academy, offering street dance, jazz, cheerleading and acrobatics taster sessions, alongside PT Taster sessions and free use of the courts.
 
Champions of the Future athlete, Niloufar Rezaei, will also be attendance. Having recently won the ActiveWestminster Sports Personality of the year award, Niloufar will be delivering sessions with local school children and the community.
 
Families are welcome, with the centre also offering face painting and games for children.
 
IMPORTANT NOTE: You don’t need to be a member to take advantage of the free activities on offer and there’s something for everyone! It’s set to be a fantastic day of celebration and fun.

Official Opening of Church Street Community Leisure Centre on Wednesday 8th Feb 2023

Westminster City Council, in partnership with Everyone Active, officially opens brand-new leisure centre with fantastic facilities for the community

We are giving schools a dedicated opening from 1pm-3pm where teachers and children can explore all the leisure centre has to offer.

From 3pm-5pm, everyone in the community will have a chance to join in some free activities, or just drop in to check out the facilities. Book below any of the FREE activities organised by Everyone Active and ActiveWestminster to mark the official opening of the centre!

Free activities available on the day:

    • Basketball

    • Walking Football

    • Volleyball

    • Badminton

    • Table Tennis

    • Zumba

    • Exercise To Music

    • Pilates

    • Yoga

 

Book Open Day Activities

Appealing to people of every age, gender and fitness level, it features a massive three-court sports hall with activities like 5-a-side football, while the community studio caters for group exercise classes and children’s parties.

The private exercise consultation room (for the Physical Activity Referral Scheme) enables healthcare practitioners to refer patients for personalised exercise regimens to assist with chronic health issues.

Customer platform lifts and a ‘changing places’ space allow users with complex disabilities and their carers to fully adapt to their needs.
